Ezra For Israel

The Ezra for Israel committee is a group of NRC members who have a desire to help the people of Israel at a time when the Jewish people are increasingly isolated among the nations of the world.

The Hebrew word “Ezra” means help, signifying that God Himself is Israel’s help. Ezra, as mentioned in the Old Testament, was the Jewish leader who led a group of exiles from Babylon back to the Promised Land.

The Ezra for Israel committee wishes to be a helping hand particularly to those Jews who confess Jesus as the promised Messiah namely the Messianic Jews, or Jewish Christians. “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” (Romans 10:1 – KJV) To the Samaritan woman the Lord Jesus said, “Salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22 – KJV)
